Lea is not a dog like the others: she has the power to tint the world with heart-warming colours. This is what happens when it enters the life of the old schoolteacher Gertrude and Marco, a young boy, who at nine years old says his first word thanks to the dog. But one evening, everything changes: Lea finds herself caught in a net and bundled into a van. A man with dark, menacing eyes wants to train it to race dogs for illegal bets. From then on, all the little dog can do is run, run, run, relentlessly, to the point of exhaustion, with the sole hope of one day finding her two friends…
