In The Wolf’s Belly

Of his kind, he was truly a crafty wolf. He waited at the corner of my street. All velvety smooth. He knew my favorite route, by heart. And nobody saw him approach me. Yet, it was the middle of the day. He neither growled nor howled, but just smiled with his teeth before swallowing me up.

Born in 1974, Thomas Scotto grew up to the rhythm of words and to the rhymes of the Fabulettes by Anne Sylvestre.

After having shortened his lengthy literature studies in Tours, he made the most of the birth of his first daughter to become a father at home and to start writing…

A joy renewed at the birth of his second daughter! His first book came out in 1998.

​The Illustrator:

Carmen Mok is a premium illustrator of books for children. After studio art studies at the university of Waterloo and design studies at Sheridan College, she decided to devote herself to children’s illustrations. She is the illustrator of Violet Shrink and Grandpa’s Stopwatch.
