Held Joshua

Joshua Held was born in 1967 in Florence. Despite his foreign surname he speaks in Tuscan, does not pronounce the “c” and says “bischero” just like a true Chianti artist. As a child he read comic books and played among Renaissance masterpieces. So first he majored in piano and then took up drawing cartoons. His characters move to the rhythm of music. Like the little boar in his first book, illustrated for Gallucci, I am also coming! No, you don’t. And the puppy in the series, published with Gallucci, opened by Dig and the Digòn Bone. A little dog who, just like Josh, enjoys playing, drawing and hanging out with friends.
