Jeannot, seven years old, has dipped into his piggy bank in order to buy himself a very mysterious farm, where from now on he will live alone… Alone with Rebecca, his goose, who will help him with renovations and taking care of the animals… There are not yet any other animals, but Jeannot has published several ads in the newspaper.

François Henninger and Lucas Méthé, well-known as independant comic book aficionados, offer here a getaway towards childhood in this story with absurd humour, a deliberately old-fashioned universe and a perfectly (un)solvable plot. A new string in their bow, which will be sure to please those who follow their work as well as young readers, weary of fantasy and in need of fancy and inventiveness! Many children will recognise themselves in Jeannot’s naïve audacity, his determined and grumpy character, his hypersensitivity…Their parents will also find him believable, looking like Little Nemo visiting Benjamin Rabier.
