A graphic novel questionning the relationship to the body.

Alice Bienassis grew up being overwhelmed by images, sounds, models, series, where rape culture taught women to yearn for objectification, violence, to be crushed, degraded.

She learned a desire based on two genders, the domination relationship between the two. As a woman, she interrogates the effect of erotic bondage like Kinbaku on our awareness of domination relations, our position between our own desire and the other, and the way we communicate. With those four testimonies regarding the practice of bondage, the author offers different points of view as well as the plurality of experiences.

This book does not only give an insight of the stakes of the Shibari practice, but it also questions the limits of desire and consent. The purpose is to offer something different than the other books on the matter. It is intended both for an experienced and a novice audience.
