Lavoie Camille

Multidisciplinary artist Camille Lavoie explores the borders between reality and fiction. Her universe—part documentary, part fairy tale—attests to a desire to closely observe the living world. She can dive as easily into childhood or science with the same wonder for life.
She inherited several family stories that made her the artist she is today, with a decided yen for travel, geography, and exploring territories of the self: the body and identitity.
Camille teaches art and runs workshops, as passing on knowledge is an essential part of her life.
She lives and works in the Rosemont-Petite-Patrie borough of Montreal, where her Studio Blanc is located: a place for dreaming and possibilities.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many, many people. Each encounter has been a wonderful chance to see my work evolve and realize that without others, we aren’t much at all.
